Google voice recognition accuracy hits 95 %




According to Internet Trends Report by Mary Meeker of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Google’s voice recognition has improved and its accuracy has reached 95%. This is considered as level which is identical to humans. Google Assistant is alluded as the "smart personal assistant" created as a part of Allo which is Google's messaging application.

Google has upgraded its dialect understanding ability by 20 percent since 2013. Hopped 20% in four years and will keep on going up since Google now has voice recognition even in Google Translate and the organization will continue gathering and examining voice information.




This quick improvement has been result of the machine learning algorithms’ enhancement which has the ability to recognize speech and respond accordingly. In 2010 this accuracy was 70%, by 2016 it has increased to 90%. Beside the voice recognition software, Google is likewise incorporating different components in the vast majority of its items, for example, the mobile and home voice-controlled assistants and Google Translate, a free dialect interpretation service that deciphers speech, text or pictures.
